I got a new pair of shoes for school and they're white. And of course, it rained today. I was waiting for the bus today in the car and mom was like "You better not step in any mudpuddles! Those shoes are nice and clean and you better keep em that way!" As soon as I got out of the car I stepped right in one. I saw her face but I closed the door before she could say anything. Then I ran as fast as I could.
I would have little air freshiners in the room. One for every room so they would smell of daisies. Ha. Though I doubt even daisies could take the smell of spoiled food away!

I love new shoes. But, today I was shopping at a thrift shop (a first for me) to find things for my brother's pirates outfit and I found a pair of really nice almost knee high, leather, nine west boots. They were the perfect size and they were only $3.50! I bought them for my pirate outfit for halloween. hee hee. We were successful in finding the majority of clothing for my brother. I don't know if I could stand air fresheners all the time. I love the smell of fresh air. It's the purest thing in the world.

I think shoes is my favorite thing to shop for. They're awesome! Any time I see someone with cool shoes on I say sweet kicks. They give me the "how dare you" look and walk away. But if they're cool they'll actually talk to me.
Fresh air in china town smelled like horse crap! Don't wanna be rude or anything but it's the truth! The water in the streets looked like milk too. It was disgusting.

I've never heard the term "Sweet kicks" hee hee. I guess it's an East coast thing.
Ha ha... there usually isn't very much "fresh air" in big cities. Big cities have its ups and downs.... drainage is definitely not one of them. That's why I love where I live, the suburbs. lol. It's not too quiet and it's not too boring either.

Sweet kicks is what a guy in my class always says. He was the first one that started saying it. He got me hooked on the word so now I say it to people who have cool shoes.
I live in a small town. Not nasty at all. The people are nice. But the cops get mad at me when I ride my skateboard.

I'm sure cops are required to hate skateboarders and bikers. hee hee. There were a bunch of skateboarders in my studio and they were telling me about how whenever they'd see cops, they'd just skate the other way to avoid confrontation, hee hee. I wish I could skate board... it looks kinda scary though.

The cops really don't do anything to us. They just give us a glare. But we have a big concrete slab that we skate on and it's right in front of City Hall. They get mad at that. I think the mayor actually took our ramps one time and burnt them. It was horibble. But we ended up finding new ones!

Well, I think at our school, skateboarders aren't even allowed, so that kinda changes things. It's so stupid, because they allow bikers, but they don't allow skateboarders. I just doesn't reason out too well. The only logical reason why they don't allow skateboarders is because I believe the school got sued when a student died while skateboarding on campus. That was it.

Oh dear! A student died on campus from skateboarding? That's horrible! I ride my bike sometimes but it's a mountain bike.I live on a big hill and I really don't feel like riding up it. So I stick with skateboarding. I was skating near a school one time and the doors were open. So me and this guy started riding down the hallways. They were having a meeting in one of the rooms too. So we jumped off and ran out as fast as we could! It left big lines on the floor. I think the janitor might have seen us.

I think someone died, but that was long before I got to my college. My campus is hella hilly, so it's kinda hard to ride bikes and skate board... so I like to resort to just plain walking.. hee hee.

I usually get hurt on my skateboard too. So I stick to walking for quite a while till I get better. I usually hit my shin with the trucks and it leaves a huge bruise. I think I have a scar from one recent incident.

Yuck... I hate bruises. Walking into things tends to let them occur. When I first moved into the on campus apartments last fall, the first thing I noticed were these plastic, corner guards on every corner of the apartment. Apparently every college student is like me: I like to cut corners of concrete walls. lol. I guess the guards minimize the marks on the walls....
I almost got hurt today at work.... I wasn't thinking and I rounded a corner with a shopping cart and I knocked down three bottles of wine and broke two on the floor. That sucked. Good thing they require us to wear long pants and close toed shoes. If not, I would've gotten huge shards of glass stuck in my leg. That's not good.

Glass hurts! It runs in my family! I'm glad it didn't hit you! My mom got hit with a snowball when she was little and it had a piece of glass in it. It cut her face. What are the odds that a piece of glass will be in a snowball?/! It's ridiculous. I broke a plate once and it almost cut my foot. Yep, I've had some close calls when it comes to glass.

Yeah, glass is definitely not good to be around when being tired. Glass in a snowball? That is so bizarre. The funny thing is, when a bottle of wine falls to the ground, whether it break or not, it doesn't sound like glass shattering... it's like a popping sound. It's weird.

The popping sound must be because it has something in it. That usually happens to glass that has a liquid in it. Wow! I actually sounded smart there! My sister was fixing bacon in the microwave one time and she forgot about it. It exlpoded everywhere! It broke the plate in half and it had a big black spot in the middle. I was laughing so hard!

Yeah, it must be the liquid. And it helps muffle the shatter sound. Ooh. I remember one time doing something stupid with the microwave. It was senior year in high school and my best friend had the greatest idea of boiling an egg in the microwave with hot water in a cup, while the egg was in it. It was for the stupid physics egg drop contest. I didn't think it would work, but we did it anyways. 20 seconds later, the egg is splattered all over the interior of the microwave. lol. When we were cleaning it up, she asked why it smelled like popcorn. I told her it was because the only thing we use the microwave for is to make popcorn.... hee hee. Lame story, the end.

I thought the story was quite funny myslef! ONe of my friends at school put an Arby's sandwich in the microwave, with the aluminum wrapped on it. She saw sparks flying so she stopped it, but being the idiot that she is, left it in there! It caught on fire!

Yeah, I haven't had my aluminum in the microwave moment yet. I'm sure I'll have one one of these days....
I have another microwave story: Someone in my studio decided that it was smart to put balsa wood in the lab microwave... it started smoking. I had to pretty much yell at the girl to tell her her wood's on fire. She opens the window and then the fire alarm goes off. We all hoped the sprinklers wouldn't go off because the entire class bought a crap load of pine lumber to make furniture. Luckily there was no waterage. When the fire marshal wanted to know what happened, we said that someone was sawing too fast with a box cutter and it set the alarm. I guess he bought the story or else we would've been in big trouble. lol.

^That's funny! I was fixing Easy Mac one day and I didn't put a cover over it and I left it in there too long. The water boiled over and the noodles went everywhere. That was the last pack! I was starving!
