I believe the TV personality Conan O'Brien deserves a thread. Now I gotta go search youtube for the most ridiculous episodes on earth!! Ahhh!!! Gosh... I love when Conan and Max banter... but it's not stupid kid banter, it's an interllectual banter that I will never converse in in my life. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zie5T8zSnq8

The stare! Ha. Did you watch the Alec Baldwin episode? I think it came on wednesday night. They showed an old SNL on E! last night and Conan was the host! It was funny.

I think Alec Baldwin has been on Conan a bizillion times... I lied, I didn't watch Conan at all this week. But, I'm definitely watching at least the opening part of the Emmys tomorrow night. It's usually the best part, where the host makes fun of everyone in the audience.

Was this board down last night? I swear it was, because I couldn't log in for the longest time. Ah well.
Anyone watch the Emmys last night? I did. ;D It had its good moments and some strange moments. Conan was awesome. I was laughing right through the opening montage. Too bad I don't watch The Office or House. Then I would've understood it better. I didn't really care who won, but I just love Jon Stewart. I need to watch The Colbert Report more often. I love fake news. And it's good TV, so I don't feel guilty.
It's funny how they were showing Star Wars Episode 2 and Pirates of the Caribbean on FOX and ABC, cuz they know ratings were gonna get sucked from them... but that made me do the channel dance, where I was flipping back and forth to the Emmys and Pirates. Yeah, I own the Pirates DVD, but watching it on TV is cool. I'm lame. ABC drains the color out of the screen for some reason.

I watched the Emmys! The opening was so funny! I watch The Office and House. They're awesome shows. The Office is a comedy, House is more of a drama but Hugh Laurie makes it funny.
I kept flipping back and forth through the channels too! Did the screen go black at the end while you were watching it? It happened to me! It made me mad to because it was right before the kiss! But thankfully it came back on right when they kissed!

Was this board down last night? I swear it was, because I couldn't log in for the longest time. Ah well. I am not sure but I logged in pretty late and it was working for me? Proboards is awful sometimes. I like Conan too by the way. He is funny. I loved his interview with Keira.

Okay, maybe it was proboards being stupid. It said I wasn't logging in, but in fact I was. That was pretty lame. Ah well. It's over, no biggies.
My new quote should be "Gee, we're screwed." I just loved how Conan said that. I loved the part when Christopher Meloni was on a segway podium giving a fake acceptance speech. It was hilarious. But the weird thing was that people were saying their acceptance speeches way fast like that.
Eh, I kinda stopped watching Pirates after the second hour... the Emmys were not as boring as I thought they'd be. I didn't see the kiss and I'm ashamed to admit it. Close call missendicott on the blackout.. I'm sure I would've had a slight heart attack. hee hee.

I thought the beginning of the Emmys was funny. He was talking to Hurley from Lost and he made the fake hair dryer. Then Conan found Hurley and was like well aren't you coming? Hurley said "Well, we weren't actually invited." So funny. Then Conan lands in The Office. That was great.
I was getting pretty mad there at the end! It kept doing it throughout the end. I knew something was gonna happen then all of a sudden it just goes black. I was like what the crap! My mom and dad actually watched it too! I think my mom likes Orlando and Keira too, but she just won't admit it.

I know! I was busting up when Curly said that. I love Lost. I haven't been watching the most recent season, but it's such a good show. Stever Carell was so subtle in the skit. But it was good like that. Dude, even Ricky Gervais was there. That was cool.
Argh, that's what I hate about broadcasted shows or movies. Sometimes they pull that kind of crap. ha ha. DVDs are better. But I hate when it does that skip thing when it's scratched. Damn technology.

Steve Carell's character on The Office is so funny. He sayd all this random stuff. And Rain Wilson. I think that's his name, but anywho he plays Steve Carell's assistant and he's obsessed with him. It's a funny show.
My XBox does that! I hate it! It makes this beeping sound and it sounds like it's gonna blow up! Sometimes I wish it would.

I don't watch The Office.... which I should be. Stupid me. I need to watch other things more often. While I was watching reviews of the Emmys, there was news that IT is going to have a guest role on CSI. What has the world come to?!?
I've never played XBox before, but I was just reading an email that my apartmentmate sent me... XBox's can TiVo things?? When was that capable? It sounds pretty weird to me. Apparently I'll have an XBox to play games with and TiVo to watch things like The Office next month. hee hee.

I read that about IT too! IT's supposed to play an annoying teenager. IT will feel right at home there!
XBox has TiVo now? Victory! Yes! I must get that. I'll be at home forever now! video games + TiVo = total laziness!

IT is incredibly annoying, appearing on my favorite show. Yuck.
I really don't know how TiVo and XBox are related. I have to find out myself pretty soon.

IT will ruin the show. I hope one of the main cast members will throw IT in jail or something!
Isn't TiVo the thing where you can rewind and pause TV? It is I think. That's awesome. Wait a second! TiVo... One of my friends had TiVo and she said that The Jacket was playing on there! Your first chance to see it!

IT will definitely ruin the show, but I hope temporarily. Gosh, the casting directors made such a bad choice. Yeah, TiVo is the thing where you can record your favorite shows and do that rewind/fast forward thing with it. Conan was demonstrating it on the Emmys, where he was giving this amazing speech and then the screen was being fast-forwarded, lol. It was funny. Yeah, too bad I don't get HBO next year. Last year I did, and I would watch movies all weekend- my procrastination, hee hee. TiVo would definitely come in handy for tomorrow night, for the VMAs, because I have work tomorrow night.... but who needs TiVo for that? I'm anticipating that they'll show it on Friday morning or something. They show that stuff a million times over, as Jimmy Falon said when he was hosting some time ago.

I saw that part on the Emmy's! It was funny! Then theyrolled that guy out in the cage and siad if someone's speech was to long that that guy would die in two hours! I didn't see Steven Colbert and John Stewart's little speech thing. I must've been watching Pirates. They said the rating were like 14% lower since the 1990 Emmy's. Pirates had 10 million viewers and Star Wars had a lot too. That brought the Emmy's down a little bit.
The VMA's come on tomorrow? I forgot about that! What time does it come on?

Yeah, you've got Pirates on your brain too much missy, hee hee. I've been watching They Daily Show and The Colbert Report lately and it's awesome. There was thing where Jon appeared on Steve's show and he made Jon look lke Heraldo Rivera, mustache and all... lol. It was hilarious. I wouldn't be surprised with the low percentage, especially with the movies AND they were showing like, the season finale of Entourage on HBO or something. That's a kooky show. It's good, I guess. The VMA's are on tonight... I'm not sure when it starts because I know I won't be watching it tonight. But, let me look it up: preshow's at 6:30 PM, show is 7. There ya go. I can't wait to see Justin, Christina, and Panic! perform....

I watch The Cobert Report and Jon Stewart sometimes. I think Steve is funnier for some reason. I watched Conan one random night and Steve was on there! It was funny. He talked about Lord of the Rings a lot. It was cool.
Thank you! But I think I'm gonna be gone. I might get back in time. I'm looking forward to Christina's performance as well.

Omg... I need to look that up on youtube. Steve Colbert + Conan = ultimate funniness. Your welcome. I checked and the Killers and OK Go are also performing, which is more sweetness. ETA: I couldn't find the Conan and Steve clip, but I found this instead: (which is equally funny) www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFObU-jgdJI&mode=related&search=

Ha! Thanks for the link! That was hilarious!
I was watching the VMA's last night and I had already missed the first hour trying to hunt down a protractor for Geometry class!! I finally got home and watched some of it. Mom made me go take a shower and when I got out I ran to see if Christina was on, and of course, I missed her. That was the entire reason I wanted to watch it. I heard that the show was boring.
