Ha ha... I like to be as descriptive as possible. I've gotten more descriptive in writing lately, because I don't talk to people with phones nowadays. Last night I had my second kebab here in Florence, it was to die for. I think it's the best so far. This was after the chocolate festival and we walked a ways from our apartment to it. It even had french fries in them. It was soooo good.
Yeah... it doesn't help that Italy has really loose regulations on A LOT of things. I can away with a lot of things. But I think the security at the soccer games are super cracking down... they don't want riots, so for one of the games, which had three opposing players from last year's World Cup, refused to sell tickets to the away fans. I've never heard of it... and I think the seats were left empty... oh, and there is a cage to separate the fans too. It rattles when they score. It's so barbaric.

There was a chocolate festival?/!! Haha! That sounds like the best thing in the world! Ok, so the kebab had french fried and the yogurt? I must try one. Then go to a random chocolate festival because that sounds like heaven. ^_^
Well that's not fair for the away team! What if someone traveled really really far away just to watch their favorite player and they couldn't? Now I know why they're cracking down on security! A freakin' cage?/! Wowza.

Yes, that has got to be the best thing in the world, chocolate and kebabs... hmmmm. We're having mexican tonight... yay!! I'm so tired of pasta nowadays...
Well, I think you die if you were from Florence and rooted for the Rome team... It would not end that great. Over here, it's like you can't really root for another town... it's kinda unheard of.

Mexican food is good, but it's not as good as Italian. But if you've had Italian everynight, then Mexican is the greatest food in the world! Haha. Our spanish teacher makes us cook Mexican food. Well we have an option of cooking or sewing a flag. I enjoy eating. ^_^
That's crazy! You can't even cheer for another team? I'd be afraid some random guy would come after me. Wow, that's really scary. I would give a big whoop for the other team to see how people reacted... just once, if I wouldn't get killed...

When I've lived here for two months on prosciutto sandwiches and pasta, Mexican food is heaven. Making steaks are a relief too. Most of us talk about foods we could have at home, like sushi, thai food, mexican, american... blah blah. We're so spoiled in America, having such a variety of foods. We even made cheesecake last thursday... it was sooooo gooooood!!! No one makes cheesecake here, it's a little sad. Even our italian teachers were excited for cheesecake, it was hilarious.
I don't think it would be a good idea to do that... the first point scored at the game was Rome and the Italian fans next to me were yelling profanities at the opposing team and flipping them off... as if it would do anything. People were throwing sh*t at the plexiglass that separates the fans and the field... kinda scary. One guy threw a beer and then my friend was like, well, that was a waste of 8 euro... ha ha.

They don't have anything else? Do they have little fast food restaurants? Cheescke is marvelouos! Haha! It's so wonderful. The teachers got excited too? Haha! I'd get excited too. I haven't had cheesckae in a while.
Sweet Jesus! That sounds horibble. Was there any "safe" place away from these crazy peeps? They need extra thick plexiglass.

Nope... fast food doesn't really exist here.. unless it's a sandwich in hand. That's it. Italians have 1 hour lunchs, where they sit and enjoy their foods, unlike Americans. It'll be awhile till I eat some cheesecake, I had a lot.
There isn't really any realy safe place to be at... I guess you take the risk when you actually go to the game. Or you could just go to a pub and watch... it's really weird not having a tv in the apt. I don't think any of these furnished homes have one.

Oh wow. I wish we had an hour for lunch at school. I love food and long breaks. Little Italy in New York was so wonderful. It had little shops and restaurants. It's being eaten up by China Town though. I want some cheesecake now. ^_^
You don't have a TV? You poor thing! Haha! I never watch television but I survive on Zelda. So I would be pretty mad if there wasn't a TV. I'm such a loser. Haha!

Yeah.... I remember the first week I was here, it was super annoying to have all the stores close from 12-3 PM. It was so inconvenient, but that's the way they deal with a lunch break. I like Little Italy and Chinatown in San Francisco... they're awesome.
Yeah... I think it took my roommate a few days to download an epsiode of Grey's Anatomy online... it's kinda sad. Our internet connection is horrible too.

Gosh, that is super inconvenient. They closed down The Gap in our mall. I'm so angry. They put in a freakin Wet Seal. So gay. Speaking of gay, haha, JK Rowling announced that Dumbledore was gay. I found that rather shocking. He was in love with Grindlewald.... Weird.
Crap! I missed The Office last night. Poopy. That makes me sad. That's the suckage about your internet connection.

Yeah... Wet Seal is sooo way not cool compared to GAP. Yeah... right before I left for vacation, I read that online about Dumbledore. It's funny. I was trying to remember the name Dumbledore the other day and the only name I came up with Gandalf.... my mind is somewhere else, for sure.
We finally got legit internet in the apartment. It's pretty fast, I gotta say. I don't think I'm going to risk killing my computer with downloadable videos... I'll let my PC roommate do that... ha ha. She has Heroes on her comp... I can't wait for her to come home tomorrow. She went to Spain... she's gonna be in a real tired mood.

I know! I hate those crap stores that try to be cool. I laughed when I heard it. I have no idea why, just seeing some old man with a gray beard being gay made me laugh. Hehe. Oh my goodness, it is impossible to explain to my father who Dumbledore is. He never can get it right. He gets Dumbledore mixed up with Gandalf everytime. And the bad guy's name in Zelda is Ganondorf! So that adds to his confusion when he comes in my room and I'm beating the crap out of Ganon. I think the only name he remembers from LOTR is Sam. Haha.
Wootness for somewhat good internet! Haha. I've always wanted to go to Spain. Knowing my luck, I'd end up going when they have the running of the bulls. So I'd get the crap knocked out of me.

Ha ha... I only remeber Sam too in LOTR... I liked when he said the words POTATOES!! hee hee. I don't know.. it sounded so unBritish like. lol. I guess you can never be too old to be gay. That should be a bummer sticker slogan....
Yeah... know we have some crap wifi thing we had to switch out, so once again, stealing wifi from the neighbors that don't know how to put passwords on their connection.. ha ha. I think I will be going to Barcelona when my mom comes in May... that'll be interesting. I'm terrifed of the running of the bulls. I remember one summer watching it on TV and people get seriously hurt.

There's a video that makes fun of how he says potates! It's so funny. That part always made me laugh. ^_^ And Gollum comes galopping in. Haha. Hey, Ian McKellin is gay too. Wow.
Stealing can be good sometimes.... like using it for internet purposes! I'm scared of them too. I'd be afraid their horns would get stuck in my butt or something. Haha.

Oh really? I need to go look for that. I love youtube... apparently an actor on Heroes has a youtube account and posts all these vids he takes and they are soooo hilarious. I love internet. It's lovely. Yeah, I was about to talk about the horns in the butt, but I was afraid it would get gruesome. Seriously, if you had to get surgery there, it would hurt.

Here it is. Haha! It's so funny. It's so random though. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jr_01rYKQLg I don't watch Heroes that often. I need to. How would you be able to sit down? Oh wow, that would not be fun. I guess you'd have trouble walking as well. Ouchies.

I'll watch the youtube clip.... I just came back from a Thanksgiving party down the street. It was basically the best Thanksgiving dinner I have ever had away from my family. I think if there was any doubt of home sickness, it has completely gone away. They tell us that around this time of the year, a lot of students are home sick.
Yeah... you'd probably on your stomach for a long while before you were sitting on your butt. Speaking of walking... I spent the last four days walking all over Rome... the city is soooooo cool. And the day after that field trip weekend, we had to walk even more for a city field trip. In two days I'll be walking all over Brussels, Beligum with a full belly of chocolate and fries. Yum. I haven't even planned out what to do there... I'm in trouble.

Thanksgiving is the shiznit. There's so much food and it makes me so happy. Haha. I'm glad I play basketball or I'd be a fatty kid. I don't think I've ever had a Thanksgiving dinner away from my family. I guess that would cause some kids to get homesick. The longest I've been away from my family has been 3 weeks. Not that long, I know, but I didn't get homesick. I heard some girl talking about getting homesick because she hadn't seen her parents in 4 days. She was a senior. That poor girl won't make it in college.
Eating on your stomach.... that would be the suckage. Haha. Ohh, I bet Rome is awesome. When you go to Belgium just walk the streets while you eat chocolate. That way you're walking it off at the same time! ^_^ Haha.

When you get older and you have to spend more time away from family, you'll just have other preoccupations that will that void. I think that's what happened to me in the last 4 years. I had a roommate freshman year in college that had to fly back to Arizona every other week to see her family, or her family came to see her. I don't think she was poor... hee hee. I think she ended up going back home after a year.
Yeah, that's exactly what we did.... we walked from shop to shop, sometimes they would give us samples of chocolate. It was awesome. Foods in Belgium definitely needed to be walked off. lol. So on our second and third day in Brussels, we were to stay at this place listed on hostelworld.com and we thought it would be like any other hostel, small and cramped. But no sir, it was pretty much a bed and breakfast. The "private" room came with two rooms, each with king sized beds, hardwood floors, nice fixtures, and a TV and stereo. And for breakfast, which came with it, a guy served us coffee, tea, orange juice, and pastries. They NEVER do that in hostels. I would totally recommend staying here if you were ever in Brussels.

That reminds me of 30 Rock. There was this 20 year old guy that liked Tina Fey and he still lived with his mom. His mom looked exactly like Tina Fey too. It was great. Wowza, she flew to Arizona every week? Ka-ching! Definitely not poor. Haha.
Free chocolate?/! That's awesome. That hostel sounds even better. That's pretty flippin sweet that the room had a stereo. Did you jam out to any Belgium songs? Haha. Well, that was nice of that guy to serve all of that. It sounds delicious. If I ever go to Brussels, which I seriously doubt it, I will try to stay at that place. ^_^
