Hi Maddie! Thanks for the warm welcome! A horocrux is an object(s) that holds a piece(s) of Voldermort's soul! Harry has to destroy them in order to kill Voldermort! Thank you I love them too!

How long do you guys take to read the books?
Me and my friend always try to see how can read the book fastest. (We're sad ones we know) The 5th i read in 2 and a half days the 6th in 2 days. I read fast ;D In all honesty i never put the book down its really bad because then i mess up my eyes for a few hours. As you can tell i love Harry potter much more then my eye sight.

I do believe that Hufflepuff's mascot is a badger. Mr. Badger! Hehe, I had to throw in the commentary. ^_^ The 5th book took me forever to read too. But you have to read so you can get the whole Sirius thing. I loved the 6th one. A Badger! That makes sense. I knew it was some furry woodland creature, but i didn't know which one. Thanks. Ya, the 5th book has taken me a week and a half to read, and i'm still not done. I read it once when it came out, and it took me a week as well. The Sirius thing is so sad, I cried at the end, he was one of my favorite characters. Then i cried about Dumbledore as well. *Sigh* So many deaths. And there are most likely gonna be more in number 7

Haha! Furry woodland creature! That's super fantastic. Now I'm gonna start saying that instead of badger.
I try to read them fast too. My sister really likes Harry Potter as well, so we're going to fight to the death to see who gets to read the 7th one first. But I'm pretty sure mom and dad reserved her a copy as well. I've read them all twice. I just got finished reading the 6th one again today. It's so sad. But I love how Ron and Hermione are going with him. July 21st!!! I'm so excited!

July 21?! I thought it came out the 18! Dang, now i gotta go re-write it on my calendar. Eh, it's gonna be all ugly looking..
I've read the first four at least four times each and the last two once. They were long, which is why i didn't read them as much. But is he going back to Hogwarts? I read that he wasn't..

I'm pretty sure it comes out July 21st. I'm doing the midnight thing! ^_^ I don't think Harry is going back to Hogwarts. He, Ron and Hermione are all going together to hunt down the horcruxes. But do remember once Harry turns 17 he won't have the protection Lily gave him. Dun.Dun.Dun. Hehe. I love dramatic things.

Wait, what?! When he turns seventeen, that means Voldy can kill him?

I think it means he won't have protection at the Dursley's any longer so he'll have to leave! But the Order of the Phoenix will protect him most likely!

^ Yeeps! Lily gave Harry the protection of love right before she died and that's why Voldemort couldn't kill him. And that protection will ware off when Harry turns 17. He has to go back to the Dursley's one last time because of Petunia's relation to Harry's mum. ^_^

Ok guys i re read the first few chapters in the 6th book about protection. Dumbledore put the protection on the Dursley's house as it says on p57 book 6 'The magic i evoked fifteen years ago means that Harry has powerful protection while he can still call this house home.' 'This magic will cease to operate the moment that Harry turns seventeen' and Lily's Protection for Harry was broken when Voldy used Harry's blood to return to a human body hence voldy in the film going ' I can touch you now' or something along those lines.
and i can't believe i did an essay type answer for that. damn my teachers geting P.E.E. stuck in my head. I m such a nerd. Roll on July 21st ;D

^ Okey dokey! So Harry lost Lily's protection in Goblet of Fire? And Dumbledore put the protection on the Dursleys house... and now he's dead... *sobs* I wish Harry and the gang the best of luck at kicking Voldy in the face!
