Should we close the board?

Alright guys, lets be realistic here. There are 104 members on this board and it has been an amazing journey for this forum. I've invested a lot of time here and so has Diana, Hari, and Amy. But they aren't around more than often due to whatever life's thrown on their laps. And it has been extremely slow here for a few months. I've made numerous attempts at encouraging posting but to no avail.

My mom says never do anything you do not believe in. And I suppose I do not believe in Orlando and Keira relationship anymore.

It seems it would be best if we just let the few of you that actually post here to continue on over at the main site (under blogs there are comment sections under each entry). Or a better alternative would be for you guys to go to the "Willabeth" LJ account and start posting there. I will be updating it regularly and there will be fictions and such there also. We can move all the fictions there also. Last I spoke to Diana, she wanted us to move to LJ anyways. So what do you guys think?

i dunno, it will be the end of an era, a great era - i still come on at least once a day, but i does seem to be very slow right now. although i bet a million pounds (if i had it) that come the time of POTC: DMC this board will pick up with those 104 members that don't post and a whole lot of new members.

however we have over 10 members who haven't posted and a large handful who have only posted a few times........ i really don't know.

we are, i think, the only board that has actually survived without all the orlando/keira media hype - so i guess that makes us special.

i really don't know hun, its been two years and we've all grown up and some people have moved on.

none of that was any help - but i'll still be around and a part of whatever the majority chooses for our future.

On one hand I agree with you Reens, if you don´t beleive in this anymore then it has lost it´s meaning for you and it´s true, it has been kind of slow, but as Syd and aliaschic04 said, I´m sure things will get more interesting when DMC premiers...
I think we should wait and see..

I'm sure when the movies come out we'll definitley need a place to talk to the other orlando and keria lovers!!!!I love this site,it's fantastic and i'm so sad your thinking about closing it down!!!

I'm always around too. Yeah agree try to keep it up until the movie comes out. the first one ignited us to become favorable of the Orlando and Keira relationship. Maybe the candle can contiune to be lighted after Potc2 hits theaters.

I agree with everyone else. I think we should wait until the movies comes out. I know I'll need some people to talk to ;D. But then again, if don't believe in this ship anymore and you really want to close the board, you have to do what you feel like .
