Awww... I feel your pain. I didn't have my laptop for 10 weeks earlier in the year... it was annoying like no other. So I had to do a lot of my computer stuff at the business center or at the school computers.

I had no idea but my dad had a laptop that I'm typing on right now! I love these things. I'm getting one my freshman year in college. Wootness. I'm so happy that I can get online!!! But our old computer is with the strange computer man....

How about stupid ipod??
My ipod I'm afraid, has died. Whenever I try to turn it on, it keeps turning on and off to that apple logo. I'm sad. I don't know if I should ask the college bookstore about it because it's such an old model. I love it to death, so I really want it still. What do you guys think?

First of all, I would cry if my iPod broke. After my emotional breakdown I'd go ask someone what the dealio was. iPods are so great.

I'd almost be to tears if it wasn't for so many repairs I had to go through this year alone. It seems like this year I have been cursed with repairing every electronic I own. First it was my laptop before school started, then it was my brake thingy on my car, then it was my car battery a couple months later, and now, my ipod. It's amazing how calm I am after all that. And it sucks how I had to figure out how to fix every single thing without my parents helping me. I think one thing that drove me to try to fix it myself, was because of how expensive people charge just to fix a minor thing. For my laptop, I searched for a better and cheaper harddrive and got it replaced somewhere that would do it cheap and quickly. For my brake thing, I bought the part at the local dealership and had a friend who knew about cars help me install it. For the car battery, I didn't want to take it into the repair shop to replace it (they would charge me $250 for it), so I went to buy a car battery charger for $50 and the car is fine. As for the ipod, I'm really exhausted as to getting to work on that.

Okay, I have more ranting about computers, if y'all don't mind. So in our apartment we use a router for wireless internet. And for some strange reason, the provider we get tweaks out on weekends... so this weekend, the internet would let me go on everything, except ichat (aka mac AIM) and this board. It was so bizarre. So after 2 days, I was allowed back onto this board. ha ha. It was totally lame.
