Hello Everyone!
I was wondering if anyone is living or has visited England, Scotland, or Ireland. I'm planning to go from October 26th to November 3rd-ish. Which country is worth going to, Scotland or Ireland? I don't know much about any country, but I really want to experience what they have to offer. So if anyone could give some advice as to where to go, where to stay, what to wear ;D , it'd be much appreciated! Ciao!

So... I got back from my little vacation in England.... and all I gotta say is... I HAD A FRIGGIN' BLAST!!! I went to sooooo many places... thank god for the tube. lol. So here's my trip in a whole ball: So we woke up at 5 AM (running on 3 hours of sleep, because we're students and we don't quite get time management even in our fourth year of college ) and we take a 6 AM train to Bologna (and hour away from Firenze). Around 8 AM at the airport, we realize we're at the wrong airport!! The right one is one city over, and hour away. So we run to the taxi queue and we get into one. But ten minutes into the ride, the car gets a flat.... we switch taxis and we make it to the check-in desk seconds before it closes (once it closes, it closes and we can't get on the plane). We almost literally walk onto the plane. Once we get to Stansted Airport, we find the shuttle service, which takes us to London. And then we walked to the tube station and realized that a major part of the tube was closed... we had to detour to get to the hotel. We finally get there... only to get ready to leave for the London Eye. It was one crazy 12 hours. I have a contact from my cousin's uncle that works in London who is working on the London Olympic venues... we got to go to the office and look at the work... it was crazy cool. Other things we saw: Foster Bridge, Swiss Re, Design Museum with the Zaha Hadid exhbit (she's brillant) and the place also had Keira's purple dress from the Pride and Prejudice premiere, London Tower, King's Cross, took a haunted tour, got a private tour in Parliament... the place is awesome.., Westminister Abbey, London City Hall, Kensington Gardens/Serpentine Gallery, British Museum, Buckingham Palace, Leichester Square, got my fix of H&M , TATE Modern, St.Paul's Cathedral, and The National Gallery. I also got to go to Oxford for a half a day... got to see a lot of the sites that they used for Harry Potter, most of them in Christ Church. The Great Dining Hall was pretty spectacular. London is great... what can I say? I'd try to stay there as long as possible, only if I wasn't a student and the exchange rate wasn't so crappy. But overall, I had the time of my life there.

Well the first part of the trip sounded pretty crappy. But other than that, that's a flippin sweet tour!! That's awesome. How long were you all there? And you got to see the Great Hall?/!! Awesome!! That trip sounds wonderful. I'm glad you had fun. ^_^

I was in London for two days, left for Oxford for one, and then came back to London by myself.
