Hey - glad to finally get my verification email all sorted out, I was starting to worry that there was some sort of red rope policy on memberships. I'm new to this board, though not new to the secretly wanting Orlando and Keira to get together bit - a million years ago I posted a story called "A sorta Fairytale" over at the orlando bloom files. That story's been deleted out of existence over there, but I still have a version of it in hard copy and it's still evolving. A blog for the story and any other eventual stories I write is up at blog.360.yahoo.com/calledinvain. It's best to start at the bottom of the blog and read the posts in reverse. I'm updating every wednesday (well, that's the plan), and I'm looking forward to whatever Orlando and Keira throw our way. Though, my love for Orlando has waned over the years, I will admit - what with the Blahsworth and the not really good movies he's been putting out, it's hard. But somehow, I will go on. Keira on the other hand...love her to bits. ;D wednesday

Hi Wednesday, You do not know me and are probably unaware of the giddy excitement you've provided me with by registering here. I was one of the people at obfiles who told you about this board. You are definately one of my favourite o/k fiction authors on the net and I've been wanting you to post "A sorta fairytale" here since I first read the unique narrative. You'll find yourself in great company and I am proud to say we house some of the best O/K fictions here. I completely agree with you on the fading Orlando crush. I am finding myself not so fascinated by him more recently (it IS possible... don't torch me) but couldn't love Keira Knightley anymore. She is just a class act. Anyways, welcome abroad. I do look forward to reading more of you.

in RL stuff...studied for a while in London, and then changed jobs and oh yes. Lots of things, so fun stuff like this got moved to the backlog, and by the time I came back, OB files had undergone v. many changes, all my old emails and such were deleted, so it was really just a blank slate. I'm glad to be here.

Hey, there. A warm 'welcome to the boards' to you, Wednesday*smiles*(Is this really your name?? If so, that's a really cool name. If not, that's a really cool nickname. Just so you know... Reens is the queen of nicknames. If you should ever be in need of one, she's the one to ask.) I'm Amy, or Aimz, whichever you prefer. I'm glad to have you here, and if you need anything or have any questions, just ask. I have to third that fading Orlando love thingy. KoH wasn't what I'd expected, at all. And Etown... I haven't seen it yet, and I'm not too sure if I even want to. I kinda *don't like* Kirsten Dunst, and the trailer was kinda... lame. Just my opinion though. ;D But Keira's gorgeous as ever.

Welcome to the boards! I'm Ashley, and I do believe everyone here calls me Ashley. Not too sure if I have a nickname, though I feel I may want to invest in one. I agree on the Orlando matter. He's still absolutely gorgeastic, but his work definately needs....work Keira's deffinately at the top of her game. Anywho, hope you have bunches of fun here. We're all quite entertaining and we don't bite too hard.

Hi! I love new people, they make me all strange and whacko...hush from the peanut gallery! I'm Diana, everyone calls me Di or some form of, well, pretty much anything. I'm easy going like that. I am all with everyone about the fading orlando love but more infatuated with Keira than ever. Our boy needs to get his butt back in the game!

hello all - thanks for being so welcoming.
Have finally seen Domino, and it only cements my Keira-adoration. She's amazing in it, and quite sexy, as well. Domino was also just plain fun to watch. Contrast this with my less than overwhelmed reaction to Elizabethtown - the last half hour with Orlando was excellent, probably the best bit, but as a whole, it meandered too long (better editing next time, please Cameron), there was absolutely no romantic chemistry with Kirsten Dunst, and it was just....meh.
Whereas Domino made me want to chop off all my hair and find a gorgeous Venezuelan man to go on the run with.
Clearly life changing, this movie.
And I also enjoyed the sheer fact that Domino didn't take itself so bloody seriously.

Umm, thanks Diana.
Wednesday, well - maybe its just me but I had anticipated a "Charlize Monster Theron" in the making by the previews of Domino. But was let down a little. Still, she's definately above the Kirsten-One-Act-Pony-Dunst or Kate-I-am-too-pretty-to-act-Bosworth or other-generic-lovehewitt-huffstuffselling-frenchcitynamedho out there.

see, I hated the trailers for Domino, thought they were overexposed, embarrassingly cheesy shots of our fair Keira and had no real interest in seeing the movie....until I found out it had been written by the man who wrote Donnie Darko. I had enjoyed DD v. much, so decided to give Domino a chance -and ended up loving it. Monster is a whole different kind of movie, but performance wise - everyone's been raving about Keira in Pride and Prejudice, and with good reason. She's stunning in it and she does quite a lot of acting with just her eyes.
Also random: but Orlando does have a sort of fatal weakness for generic blondes, doesn't he? Abi Titmuss, Kirsten Dunst, Kate Bosworth - when will the madness end? He allegedly went out with Salma Hayek on a off moment with La Blahsworth...and still went back to her. Kate. After Salma Hayek.
SALMA HAYEK.
There is something wrong with that boy and I'm not sure it's just his choice in movie roles anymore.

Do you count Keira's hair blonde? I think it's light brown with blonde highlights. It Looks very pretty. Prettier than on that anorexic barbie doll with evil eyes and bleach blonde hair!

Oh really? The creator of DD? I too loved that movie. Donie Darko and Butterfly Effect are two of the finest...ever. I guess I couldn't get used to the whole music-video-ish feel of the movie, the story wasn't bad though. And Keira was awesome in it. My favourite scene was when she asks one of the pestering girls if they ever had nose surgery and then *punch*. Nice!
I didn't know he went out with Salma Hayek. Well, its official, the boy hurt more than his spine when he fell from that building some years ago.

I don't count Keira as a blonde, actually. From seeing pictures of her mother and her father, I would say Keira's a proud brunette, just as I am. Not that I dislike all blondes - I just don't think if you're blonde, you're 'automatically' hotter. I mean, WTF with Paris Hilton being considered 'attractive?'
