So apparantly Keira's gonna star in the film The Other Boleyn Sister playing Anne Boleyn - (read more details over at the BnK website)
so i was just wondering what you guys think?
personally i really adore the Tudor period, and i am very interested in it (where i live was made a Royal Town because of Henry VIII - so we do all love the Tudors - i dunno if you guys know but the Tudor rose that represents the tudors well that is the symbol for our town) anyhoo i think it will be a great film.
i hope they get a really good supporting cast with lots of the British folk - i dunno who could play the othe Boleyn sister, i really don't know much about her was Mary Boleyn older/younger/pretty/smart/what happened to her etc, but i guess that she should have some resemblance to Keira.
well the source is IMDB so i dunno if this production will go ahead, but i hope it does.

Was it a valid source that said she will be working in the movie?

There have been less than regal words between Hollywood producers and BBC film chiefs about whether British or American stars should portray Anne Boleyn in a new movie about her courtship with Henry VIII. Natalie Portman and Michelle Williams had been contacted about playing siblings Anne and Mary Boleyn in the film The Other Boleyn Girl.
Henry VIII enjoyed the favours of both sisters, although the film is based on a fictional novel that explores how Henry dropped Mary to woo Anne.
Keira Knightley has been courted to play Anne Boleyn
"There's a feeling that too many of these kinds of films are made with American stars in major roles and there's a view that we should be able to find stars who are British to play these historical figures," argued a British film executive connected to the project.
Ms Portman was in the recent Star Wars movies, and Ms Williams was Oscar nominated for her part as Heath Ledger's wife in Brokeback Mountain. American names usually attract more financial backers.
However, some of the creative team behind a film of The Other Boleyn Girl (to add to the confusion, it was also a TV movie with Jodhi May and Natascha McElhone) have been trying to attract Keira Knightley who, these days, seems to be a much bigger name than Portman and Williams.
But as I mentioned recently, Keira's so booked up she has little wriggle room for new projects for a while (even her mother has to wait until next year for a joint project with her famous daughter).
The film would work with Keira, should she want to do it, playing one of the sisters. Her presence would make an American actress in the other part more palatable.
Already there's talk of Australian Eric Bana, who played The Hulk and also the lead in Steven Spielberg's Munich, being keen to play Henry. (dailymail.co.uk)
i think Keira will attract just as many financial backers. if only the producers/casting people would look at keira and natalie together and realise they are practically identical. plus both amazing actresses = perfect combination

I think that Natalie Portman and Keira would make perfect siblings. Both are famous, beautiful and talented women, so why not? I'm keeping my fingers crossed

I think Natalie Portman is funny! She was on SNL one time and I was crying it was so funny! And Keira is hilarious! So they would be great on screen together. I really hope they get the parts!
