In terms of landing on his feet, Orlando Bloom is one person whose feet must be lined with lead.
The 28-year-old star is believed to be searching for a plush pad in the Caribbean - after falling in love with the area whilst filming Pirates Of The Caribbean.
Orlando, known to his buddies as Orli, is currently filming two sequels to the first Pirates movie, with co-stars Johnny Depp and Keira Knightley.
But news that he wants to buy property on a Caribbean island marks his enormous rise from curly-haired kid from Canterbury to A-list actor hanging out in Hollywood with his actress girlfriend, Kate Bosworth.
Who would have thought that the guy who once broke his neck and feared being paralysed after falling off a roof terrace whilst at drama school would a few years later be considering buying a home in the Caribbean.
According to Teen Hollywood, the Lord Of The Rings star is keen for a remote home on western Caribbean's little-known Emerald Isles.
A source told the website: "He wants somewhere to escape the pressure of being an international movie star."
What's wrong with Canterbury?

you guys think it's true? cus he broke his back, not his neck and i think he'd most likely move to New Zealand before even thinking about the caribbean...*shrugs* but i dunno, it should be damn cool to live in both places!

Probs not true, might be searching for somewhere to stay while he's filming though ;D And he's not moving away from England I've decided because his accent is changing into an American one slightly because he's constantly around Americans. *growls under breath* Stick him with Keira for a couple of days and that sexy voice will be back

I agree that he's probably looking for a cool place for like a vacation house and/ or maybe just during filming. I'm an American born citzen, but I think you should always be true to your roots no matter where you come from. Losing his accent could cause problems once he returns to England. Yes sticking with Keira is the best option.
