I know change is good, necessary, even - and as much as I have despaired of my Orlando appreciation over the past few years, in the end, I still kindamaybe like him (oh, that's not complicated), I get that he's not going to be the same naive drama school kid that he was.
Despite his (IMO) questionable taste in women (allegedly, Kate Bosworth is a natural brunette), being considered 'boring' is hardly a crime. I know, I know - just stay with me here for a minute --
IMDB is not exactly a bastion of truthfulness and superb journalism, but they do usually get a variation of the truth up quicker than most outlets I know of. When I bother to check. Really, I don't just stay at home all day and surf gossip sites, not even for research.
ANYWAY, the newest imdb gossip column says that Orlando is being sued by his former management company for the typical 'unpaid settlement due, blah blah, it's like 'irreconcilable differences' in divorce settlements, and that he ditched them for Brillstein and Grey (famous for having Brad Pitt as a client, etc.)
For about five seconds I pondered if Kate was also repped by Brillstein and Grey (you know, in this age of TomKat, a conspiracy is only a click away), but then decided it was pointless to wonder.
Also, I didn't want to go through more than one Kate Bosworth fansite or her imdb profile than was necessary for my continued healthy mental state to find out.
While not exactly life shattering (is any celebrity 'news' really?) if this lawsuit is true, it's just another little disappointment I have with Orlando. Not to mention, the 'big' roles in the movies mentioned had little to reflect on the actual 'goodness' of the movie (okay, Pirates is awesome, and if you edited half of Elizabethtown, it would have been a sweet, sweet movie).
Sigh. The boy is such a tool.
Keira, on the other hand, continues to rock, and her new Vogue cover? While I do not enjoy the fake blonde wig, I am just about enraptured with the photos inside and how much nearly every journalist lately has been pointing out how extraordinarily beautiful she is but how normal she is at the same time....only this time, I actually agree with them.
It's so hard writing about Orlando and Keira sometimes when I think Orlando just needs a good smack on the head.
I haven't stopped writing, by the way, I'm just busy rewriting (my muse is a stickler for perfection) and trying to keep on track for a happy ending.
ETA: it's shown up at Eonline.com now
