Lots of people are traveling during Memorial Day Weekend and sadly, I am one of them. I'm going to North Carolina to visit my aunt. It should be fun though. She likes pirates too so that'll give me an excuse to see it again! ^_^ I won't be back until Monday afternoon. So have fun while I'm gone children!

I knew it was Memorial Day weekend, but it didn't cross my mind that I would have a day off of school. I'm weird. I'm kinda bummed that I don't have school on Monday, just because that's one of the days I have ballet. If I were vacationing this weekend, I'd be gone by now or typing away at my house. Nope, me and most of my roommates are in town... boring. If I did go home, I would have missed the Pirates premiere with all the little high school brats. ha ha. Sorry to diss on that age range, but my friends and I must have been some of the older people in line and not strangely clothed. lol. It was very amusing though. I have to go to studio today to work on my skyscraper.... hopefully we'll be able to watch some good movies on the projector while we 'work'. There's only 3 weeks left in the year and I'm becoming more and more sad, just because I won't be seeing a lot of my friends in my major for an entire year. :tear:

Yes, I'm taking ballet at my college. I've took ballet for 10 years when I was younger. I took a class freshman year at college, two years later, I'm taking it again. It's annoying how I lost so much muscle that I need to do movements. My teacher made me demonstrate a ponché and I nearly killed my butt and back muscles. lol. But minor things, like placement of the arms and feet are engrained in me forever. I still have turnout, which is nice. Wearing pointe shoes is a painful pleasure now.
I did 'marching band' freshman year in high school for homecoming. That was fun... I wished my high school had it year round. I kind of regret not continuing the clarinet.
Oh, so I forgot to mention... after I watched Pirates on Thursday night, I ended talking to my cousin that was a stunt guy in L.A. for pirates at like, 3 AM (partly because I had coffee after the movie ;D and he was researching online). He was an asian pirate. He said he hadn't seen the movie and that he was going up to the bay area to watch it with his family this weekend. It's definitely going to be a big weekend for the movie... he told me to tell everyone to watch the movie as much as possible... he gets residuals afterwards, meaning he'll get a certain percentage of money made with ticket sales. Which is kinda neat. Anywho, he worked on the falling off the world scene; he was told to hang onto the boat while it tipped. He said it only tipped at 45 degrees, but the camera angle made it look 90 degrees tipped. He said the a lot of the stunt guys get hurt from falling deliberately.... I kinda take for granted that real people perform those gruesome stunts. I guess that's what they're paid for. And then he worked on the marriage fight scene. He told me once again about how he had to re-choreograph his little fight with one of the Dutchmen because their area was then occupied by Keira and Orlando. He told his partner to shove him through the tiny area between Keira and Orlando. ha ha. I'm not too sure if they used that footage in the movie. I gotta see the movie again and see whether he's in it or not. I asked him if he was in the little Singapore fight scene, but apparently not. That's even more crazier.

Well I'm back! I didn't get to watch Pirates again tough. But I almost did. We went to go visit my cousins (that I have to take care of in the summer!) and they wanted to watch it but it was like 7 o'clock and we had a 2 hour drive back to where we were staying.
That's awesome about your cousin! I want to watch it agian now just so I can see if I see him! I love doing that kind of stuff. Love the banner by the way. ^_^

Thanks for the banner comment! I had this incredible urge to make one yesterday after I watched the clip on photobucket. The scene is sooooo sad. But I love how Elizabeth is so desperate to get one last kiss before Will leaves. And I love how Will kind of lifts her a bit. Awwww....
Yeah, I should ask if my cousin took pictures with any of the mains. Probably not, cuz he treated it as another job. Dang it.... And it was too late to ask him about it, because by the time he told the family, the job was over.

Your quite welcome! ^_^ It's like on Princess Diaries when the girl wants a kiss where she can lift up her leg. Keira does that on the marriage kiss. She 's on her tippitoes on this one!
Oh well. At least you can say your cousin was in the movie!

I guess I could say that. The scene is soooo cute. I don't think it can get any cuter.
On a side note, I think it's funny how most of you guys are out of school by this time, while it's 12:30 PM here and I'm getting ready to go to my class. I kind of hate 1 PM class because it makes me lazy.

I enjoy the marriage scene quite a lot too. But I think I like this one more. ^_^
Poopy, semester exams are coming up. But I get out of school next wednesday! Wootness!

I get out of school in 3 weeks.... that is not a lot time in terms of projects getting done. Uh oh.
You know what just occured to me? When I was watching the marriage scene, the part in the music when they kiss, was almost like a tradmark of Disney films, where they use a type of chord to signify a kiss. ;D I dunno, maybe it's just me.... I usually see it in the cartoon romance movies they do, but I never see it with real actors.

The music rocks my socks in this one. But when they're fighting while getting married, it's still got the fatty pirate music and when they kiss it all violiny and pretty. Violiny?

Violiny!! More melodic perhaps??

There you go! Melodic sounds much better than violiny. I come up with the weirdest words.

You do... hee hee. Hey, that's how we figured out the word smexy and the word works. I can't believe its the weekend already. Gosh. I just came back from an "Italy party". It had all the 5th year students that went to the same program, but two years prior and there were us third years that are about to go in 3 months... holy smokes... that's coming up! I gotta say there are some pretty smexy 5th years, but they're all leaving!!! Argh. Why oh why.

Smexy is a weird word, but it does indeed work! As does shiznit! ^_^
An Italy party sounds like fun. Smexy 5th years huh? What about the 4th years? What happened to them?

Yes, I almost forgot about the shiznit. That is definitely a cool word. My roommates and I use the word ridiculous a ridiculous amount of times a day.
At an Italy party, there must always be wine. I drank a little, but ended up giving the rest to my friend. She got ridiculously drunk and talked to the smexy 5th year guy that I like. lol. I didn't get drunk... I tend not to. ha ha. The 4th years are actually in Italy right this minute, therefore they could not attend. I think they might have actually ended their schooling today. Hooray!!

I think ridiculous is a hard word to say. I have no clue why, but I like how it sounds. One of my friends is hooked on the word pompous.
Oh dear. Drunk friends. Hehe. There was a guy at my school that got drunk, but I really despised him so I just laughed at his face. I wasn't there when it happened, but one of his friends told me. Anywho, Italy sounds like it will be fun! I really want to go to London.

It's a hard word to say.... it's got 4 syllables in it. Ridiculous describes almost everything. Basically. I want to visit London too, while I'm abroad. Apparently we get three day weekends all the time, so every weekend I will be going to another city/country. It'll be exciting. I hear that London is a very expensive place, compared to the states, since the dollar is very weak right now.... which sucks.

When I hear ridiculous, I think of that scene in Harry Potter when Professor Lupin is teaching them about Bogarts.
Lupin: "Repeat after me. Ridiculous" Draco: "This class is ridiculous." Wow, I watch Harry Potter entirely too much. ^_^
Poopy. That sucks that it's expensive. But I'd still go. I keep hinting to mom and dad that I want to go. I think I might go my senior year. My mom wants to go, but my dad is the difficult one.

Yes!! I remember that. He likes to say ridiculous and "here eat this, it'll make you feel better." And it's true, chocoloate makes everything feel better. lol. I'm at home and I think we're going to watch Harry Potter POA. Yay. It's my favorite of the series. I can't wait for the new one to come out.
Hee hee.... same here for the parents. Mom is like yay!! and dad is always hesistant. I'm still going depsite the expensiveness. Dude, a McFlurry cost $4 there!! Amazing.
