Yay! more new people!! Hi guys! and thanks for all the fab comments.. ;D
The next month went by without much incident. They had just finished shooting in the cave and it was almost midnight, which meant it was almost Keira’s birthday. Orli had asked Johnny’s wife, Vanessa, if she would please bake a cake to which she agreed happily. Now he was just waiting for the next minute to go by for midnight before he would bring out the cake to surprise Keira.
She was sitting on one of the fake rocks sipping on some coffee, a faraway look on her face when Orli and the rest of the cast slowly moved towards her. When Keira looked up a loud chorus of ‘Happy Birthday’ was sung and the cake put in front of her.
“Happy Birthday love,” Orli said with a smile at her surprised face and gave her a kiss on the cheek. She just jumped into his arms and hugged him as tight as she could.
“Slow down there hon, you first have to make a wish.” Keira smiled and the cake was held up to her with eighteen candles on top of it. She closed her eyes for a moment before opening them and blowing out all the candles with one go while everyone else applauded happily.
“Thank you so much Orli!” she exclaimed before thanking everyone else and receiving random gifts from the pirates. Some music was put on and Keira laughed at Orli who was kneeling before her, begging her to dance with him.
She danced through Orli and a couple of the pirates and the director. But then a slow song started and she craned her neck to see if Orli was near. She felt a tap on her shoulder and turned around to see Orli there with one of the fake crowns from the set on his head, asking her to dance.
Keira smiled and took his offered hand, Orli spinning her into him and placing the crown on her head. “You are the queen,” he sang along to ‘Indigo girl’ by…well, whoever sings it, and she giggled as he dipped her to the back. “The queen of me, the queen of love, my lovely queen.”
She was pulled up into Orli again and relaxed into his arms, resting her head on his shoulder as he sang softly to the song. “You’re my little indigo girl, indigo eyes, indigo mind. And you’re my little indigo girl, indigo smile, indigo frown. I want you to be mine tonight. ‘Cause you’re my little indigo girl, it’s a beautiful world when you’re around.”
Keira took the crown from her head and rested her head on his shoulder more comfortably, now that she could feel his warm skin against her cheek while he sang on, his eyes closed in contentment. “It’s a dream, it’s a long. Every night I realize I need you close to me, but every night I lie here all alone. I long for you my little indigo girl.”
The song came to an end and they felt like they would rather die than leave the comfort of each other’s arms, but slowly separated nonetheless. Orli placed a kiss on her forehead lingering for just a moment longer before smiling down at her. She was staring at his chest, a lost look on her face which made him frown.
“Angel, are you alright?” he asked, but she didn’t answer. “Angel? Keira love?” She snapped out of her little trance and looked up at him with a startled look in her eyes. But when her eyes met with those of Orli’s she melted right there. There was just something within those chocolate depths that made her feel butterflies in her stomach and she was afraid that she would say something stupid if she lingered too long.
“Come on, I have something for you,” he whispered in her ear and motioned to the door with his head. Keira nodded and smiled at him before he pulled her outside onto the beach. “Close your eyes,” he said and stopped her before she could take another step.
“What?” she asked with a smirk and looked at him with raised eyebrows. “You’re not going to throw me into a shark tank, are you?”
“As much as I’d love to, no,” he replied with a sarcastic smile before going to stand behind her and slowly putting his arms around her to cover her eyes. “Trust me,” he whispered into her ear which made her shiver. She nodded and Orli’s hands left her closed eyes, travelling down her arms to hold her hands behind her. He guided her a little further down the beach before bringing her to an abrupt halt. “Open your eyes,” he whispered again and she slowly opened her eyes, gasping at the sight that met them.
“Oh my God, Orlando,” she breathed as she took in the amazing image before her. There was a picture of a dolphin dug out about a foot and a half into the sand with little candles laid inside these little trenches, lighting it up brilliantly.
“Happy birthday Keira,” Orli said from behind her and she turned around to face him. What surprised him was that a tear was leaking from her eye and slowly rolling down her cheek. “Oh honey, please don’t cry. I’m sorry, I thought…”
Before he could finish his sentence Keira’s lips were covering his own and she was kissing him passionately. Orli’s arms went around her and he held her close as he returned the kiss, his tongue snaking out to meet her own and rejoicing at the taste.
Keira slowly pulled out of the kiss and looked into his eyes, her own drowned in tears. “Oh Orli, why do you have to make it so much harder,” she said between tears before giving him one last kiss and pulling away from him. “I have to go,” she announced between sobs and ran up the beach.
“Keira!” Orli called after her. He was so confused, first she was crying; then kissing him and now running up the beach away from him as fast as her legs could carry her. “Keira!” he called again, but she ignored him as she tore up the beach crying.

Keira was sitting on her couch, staring at the ground and the slowly dripping tears falling onto it. She jumped as a knock came at the door and kept quiet in case it was Orli. She wouldn’t be able to face him right now.
“Keira honey! It’s me, Sonia!” a voice called out and Keira jumped up, unlocking the door. She flew into her stunt double’s arms and cried into her shoulder while Sonia tried to soothe her. “Oh honey. Shh. It’ll be alright.” She came inside and closed the door behind her before making her way to the couch where Keira finally let go of her and put her face in her hands. Sonia sat down next to her and pulled her hands away from her face. “Orli told me to come and see if you’re alright. He said he doesn’t think you want to see him right now. What happened?”
Keira sniffed and looked up at Sonia with puffy and red eyes before telling her about everything that happened on the beach. “Oh Sonia. Don’t you see?” she asked.
“See what hon?”
“That I’m in love with him.”
“Oh.” There was a moment of silence before she spoke again. “Then what’s wrong? Why are you running?”
“Do you have any idea what my history of men is like?” She turned her gaze to the floor and watched as another tear fell. “One tried to rape me, luckily someone came to help. Around three of them cheated on me and one hit me. I’m afraid to love, Sonia. I’m afraid that it will crash and burn again. And every time that happens I lose a piece of me.”
“But honey, Orli’s not like that…”
“How about Aaron? And Craig? Darren? Jerry? What about Dell? I thought they were all the sweetest guys on earth!” Her eyes met Sonia’s, who’s heart broke at the sight of her crying friend. They were very close, since there weren’t many other women on set. “I guess I just won’t trust men again.” Keira trailed off and rubbed her eyes on her shirt.
“Oh Keira. I’m not an expert on these things, but can I make a suggestion?” Keira nodded and Sonia proceeded. “I think it’s not a matter of losing your trust in men forever. I just think you need some time to get it back. Orli would have to earn your trust, but I’m sure that won’t be a problem. He’s such a great guy and I’m sure he could make you the happiest girl in the world, but if time is what you need, I’m sure he’ll understand.”
The corner of Keira’s lips slowly turned upwards into a little smile. Sonia smiled back and pulled her into a hug, rubbing her back reassuringly. “You know, he gave me the most beautiful present on earth,” Keira whispered and gave a little laugh.
“Really? What?”
“You have to see it yourself, so I’ll show you.” She jumped up and pulled Sonia up with her. “Come on.” With that they left the apartment and Keira led her down the beach to where the dolphin was, but she stopped abruptly when she saw a figure sitting by the candles, looking out to sea. It was Orli.
“Go honey, I think he needs to talk to you,” Sonia said with a reassuring smile, but Keira just looked at him doubtfully. “Go, or I’ll have to drag you over there.” Keira gave a little nod and took an uncertain step in his direction. She looked back at Sonia who smiled at her with eyebrows raised. “Go.” She took a deep breath and slowly made her way down the beach to where Orli was standing.
Orlando heard someone approaching him and turned to see Keira walking towards him, stopping to sit down next to him in the sand. She just stared out at the ocean in silence before she spoke, not turning to him.
“I’m sorry,” she whispered, barely loud enough for him to hear.
“About what?”
“Running away, I can explain.”
Orli put his hand on her shoulder and felt the goose bumps on her bare arms, so he took off his jacket and put it around her shoulders. “You don’t have to explain anything to me if you don’t want to.”
“I know, but I want to. You see, it’s just that I’m still working on getting back the trust in men I had before. Let’s just say I had some bad experiences with some of my past boyfriends. I just need some time.” She looked down and started drawing silly patterns in the sand, still avoiding his gaze. “I’m so sorry for dropping all my silly crap on you.”
Orli smiled and took her chin between his thumb and forefinger, forcing her to look at him. “Don’t worry, I totally understand. I’ve had my share of bad relationships too. And besides, it’s not silly crap.”
Keira gave a little laugh before hugging him closely. “Thank you so much for understanding. And for the present, it’s the best birthday present ever.”
Sorry for the ‘weirdness’ of this fic…I know it was somewhere in august or September or whatever and then it jumped to Keira’s birthday, which I think is in March. Sorry! Lol! And the next chapter will be Christmas. Hehe, sorry. And I'll be gone for a few days, so I wont be making an update for a while, but i'll be back before you noticed I'm gone...

Awesome updates. Have you noticed you are growing as a writer with each progressing update? I have. As for the weirdness, I don't think as an avg reader I really care as long as it is juicy and hot... and it is...
