Title: I Just Know
Author: Madelyn
Rating: PG – 13 (at the most)
Disclaimer: I don’t own Orlando Bloom or Keira Knightley
Author’s Note: This is my first fanfic, so don’t be too harsh. Let me know what you think though. It’s quite small, but I wanted to write something before I disappear for a while during the school year. Oh, FYI, the italics are flashbacks.
I Just Know
Keira stood under the showerhead and let the water cascade across her face. She was startled by a series of gentle kisses on her neck. She loved when Orlando surprised her by joining her in the shower. She smiled as he continued to leave a trail of sensations along her shoulder.
His strong arms wrapped around her tiny body, completely enveloping her in his embrace. The movement of his chest pressed against her back; their bodies moved as one.
She loosened his hold just enough to turn and face him. Keira stared into Orlando’s beautiful brown eyes. When she couldn’t resist him any longer they entered into a passionate kiss. Finally when their lips reluctantly parted Keira took a breath for the first time in what felt like minutes.
She studied his face. She couldn’t help but smile at the fact that he was now hers, now that they were engaged, as of last night.
“Keira, when I look into your eyes, I just know. When I see your smile, I just know. And when we’re together…..I just know. I know that I don’t want to spend another minute of my life without you. You have given me happiness and a new outlook on life. Now it’s time for me to give back. Will you marry me?”
She giggled at the memory of when he proposed last night. Orlando pulled her closer in, lightly gripping her bare back while her hands got lost in his head of brown, now damp curls. They shared another perfect kiss.
Keira was suddenly removed from her “Orlando Daze” when she remembered why she was in the shower. She was getting ready for a charity brunch her and Orlando were obligated to attend. But all she really wanted to do was jump back into bed with her fiancé and sleep in.
“Oh well,” she thought. “There’s always tomorrow.” And it was true. They had tomorrow, and the rest of their lives.
