thanks for all the wonderful comments!! i actually finished writing the story down on paper yesterday! woohoo! welp, here's chapter 9 today; i may upload chapter 10 later on today too because its a short one! anyways, enjoy!
Chapter 9
Mid-way through the next day, Orlando and Keira went shopping. Well, actually, it was more of Keira shopping and Orlando carrying bags. Orlando didn’t mind, he said.
“Ooh, look, Orli! Here’s something perfect for you!” Keira gushed, holding up a sparkly pink purse.
“Ha ha ha, very funny,” said Orlando sarcastically, giving Keira a light shove.
Keira wanted to catch his hand and kiss it, but she refrained from doing so. Instead, she silently willed him to touch her again, anywhere. On her ear, on her leg, on her fingernail even. She moved on to a rack of dresses. “Oh my God, this dress is so... breathtaking!” she breathed.
“Well, go try it on,” Orlando prodded. “No.” She shook her head. “I don’t think it’s my body type. It will fall right off.”
“I think its’ perfect for you,” Orlando said simply. “Now go try it on. Please? I want to see you in it.”
Keira sighed and went into the dressing room with the dress. She put it on and studied herself in the mirror. The dress was black with pink polka dots. It had a halter top and went to down to just above her knees. The dress fit her every curve perfectly, and the waist was just right. She had found a new love: this dress!
She stepped back into the store wearing the lovely dress.
“So... what do you think?” she asked Orlando, who was standing nearby. He stood staring at her in amazement.
“Wow!” Keira exclaimed. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen you speechless before!”
Orlando struggled to find his voice. “You look... you look amazingly beautiful.”
Keira smiled shyly. “Really?”
“Really,” Orlando said. “You should buy the dress.”
“I will,” Keira said. Orlando grabbed her hand as they walked to the checkout counter. Keira’s heart skipped a beat as she gripped his hand in her own. She probably gripped it a little too tightly, but she felt that if she let go, she would be letting go of her dreams and possibly her future. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ again, thanks for being such awesome readers!!

Chapter 10
Keira and Orlando got back from shopping at about seven o’clock that evening. “So, where shall we eat tonight?” Orlando asked. “Here!” Keira decided.
“Here?”
“Yeah. I’ll cook. Or attempt to cook, anyway.” Keira giggled.
“I’d be happy to assist you, Chef Knightley,” Orlando stated, giving Keira a mock bow. “Alrighty then,” Keira said. “What are we having?”
“Toast!” Orlando declared.
“Toast!” Keira agreed. “Salad!”
“Salad!” repeated Orlando. “Macaroni & cheese!”
“Aye!” Keira shouted. “Macaroni & cheese!”
Half an hour later, Keira and Orlando sat down to their meal of burnt toast, powdery macaroni & cheese, and salad, consisting only of lettuce. “Mmm!” said Orlando, choking down a bite of toast.
“Lovely,” murmured Keira, grimacing, as she swallowed two pieces of powdery macaroni & cheese whole.
Keira decided that she didn’t even want to try the decaying lettuce that was the salad. “Pizza?” she asked Orlando.
“Yes, please,” he said as she picked up the phone. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 11
Chapter 11
“I have a surprise for you today,” Orlando said with a mischievous grin the next morning.
“But you’re my--- “ Keira started to protest.
“I know I’m your guest, Keira, and this is my way of thanking you for all of your hospitality,” Orlando explained. “I’m taking you out!”
Keira liked the way he was getting so excited about this outing. She refused to call it a date, because, well, it technically wasn’t one.
Keira looked up into his gorgeous brown eyes, hidden beneath his chocolate curls. She saw so much happening there--- worry, probably over her, hope, and wait did she just imagine that? Or was that a hint of... dare she even get her hopes up... love?
She knew that it was probably her own feelings making her imagine things... right? She tore her eyes away for a split second, then looked back, and nodded. “Okay,” she whispered. ------------------------------------------------------------------- updating chapter 12 & 13 tomorrow!! 12 is long- i promise! again- thanks for being such awesome readers!

Chapter 12
“You’re gonna love it! I promise!” Orlando said for the millionth time. “I trust you,” Keira said quietly. She had to trust him. Since she was sitting in his car in the shotgun seat, blindfolded.
“We’re here!” Orlando announced five minutes later. “Now, I’m going to get out, open your door, and then carry you to the surprise. Is that alright with you?” “Yes,” Keira murmured. She shuddered with delight at the thought of Orlando carrying her. He did just what he said he would: he got out of the car and opened her door. She felt his muscular arms pick her up. She put her arms around his neck. I could stay this way forever, she thought. But then she remembered that they were just friends. Just friends. How she hated that phrase at that very moment! If only he felt the same way!
“Maybe he does,” said a nagging voice in the back of her head. “Maybe if you just tell him how you feel---“
She cut the voice off, thinking, No, I can’t do that! And he doesn’t feel the same way!
“But maybe---“ the voice began again. Shut up, stupid voice, shut up!, she cried inside her head. The voice quieted.
“Thank you!” she said aloud, by accident. She covered it up by adding, “For carrying me, I mean.”
“Well, you’re welcome then,” Orlando responded. She could tell by his voice that he was smiling. She loved his smile. “Well, we’re here!” he said, gently setting her on her feet. “For real this time.” His hands moved to the back of her head as he started to untie the bandana that had been acting as a blindfold. She kept her eyes closed as she felt the bandana fall. “Open your eyes,” Orlando whispered in her ear. She did so, and then she gasped with delight.
She was standing in front of the ocean, but it wasn’t that that made her gasp. It was the beautiful yacht sitting on the glittering water.
“You like it?” Orlando asked, smiling, knowing she did. “Oh Orlando!” Keira breathed. “It’s beautiful! I love it!”
“I borrowed it from Johnny, just for today,” Orlando explained, wearing his I-told-you-so look. Then he added, “Just for you.”
Keira blushed. Maybe the voice was right after all. Wait--- what was she saying?! The voice was most certainly NOT right! Right?
“Do wanna go on the boat?” Orlando asked her sweetly. She nodded, still having an internal argument with the voice. Orlando boarded first. He then held his hand out for Keira to take. She let him help her onto the yacht, which was even more extravagant as she had imagined.
He motioned to a table nearby, where a brunch had been set out. There was toast (not burnt, thank God!), fruit, pancakes, and scones all laid out neatly. She turned to Orlando. “You did all this?” she asked in amazement.
He nodded. “Just for you, love.” There were those words again! “Just fro you.” Why did he have to get her hopes up? Why, why, why? Orlando led her over to the table. He pulled out her chair for her, and she sat down. She took a bite of toast. “So... I guess you make better toast than me, huh?” Keira asked, laughing. “I mean, it’s not black, and it doesn’t smell like smoke!”
“I don’t like to brag,” Orlando said, grinning, “but i make pretty fine toast.” He raised one eyebrow. “Or so I’m told.”
“It’s absolutely splendid!” Keira teased, taking another bite. “I just can’t seem to stop eating it!”
Orlando laughed. Keira loved his laugh. It was so rich and full. It reminded her of long days of just lying on the beach and having a peaceful time. With him, of course. Now Keira Knightley couldn’t imagine life without him. Now she had a problem. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chapter 13
They got back from the yacht at about eight o’clock. Orlando noticed that Keira looked a little bummed out.
“Keir,” he said, touching her shoulder. “Is something bothering you?”
Keira smiled what he knew to be a fake smile and said, “No, everything’s fine. I swear.”
Orlando knew she was lying, but he let it go. She would tell him at her own time... wouldn’t she?
He sighed. Now Orlando Bloom had to find out what was bothering her. Now he had a problem. --------------------------------------------------------------------

again, thanks for all the wonderful comments! todays update:
Chapter 14
As Keira and Orlando walked out of the Starbucks, the rain was pouring down. When they had walked there two hours previously, the sun had been shining through the clouds. But now the rain was falling fast and hard, and it was three blocks away from Keira’s flat. Orlando grabbed Keira’s hand and guided her out into the rain. The usually jam-packed sidewalk was deserted. He just stood there for a while, gazing at her. She was becoming wetter by the second. Her dark blonde hair, soaked with rain, stuck to the sides of her face, framing it. Orlando couldn’t help but notice how beautiful she was.
“Umm... Orlando?” Keira said, snapping him out of his trance.
“Dance with me,” Orlando commanded her. The moment felt right. He just wanted to hold her. “You do realize it’s raining, don’t you?” Keira wanted to know. She was looking at him like he was crazy, but he didn’t care. “So?” he threw back. “Just dance with me. Please?”
Keira paused, looking disappointed.
“What’s wrong?” Orlando asked.
“It’s just...” she bit her lip. “I wish I had thought of it first!” She grinned and took his outstretched hand. He spun her around and around, keeping a beat in his head. He dipped her, and then he lifted her into the air.
Keira looked down at him, laughing. He gently set her back down, took her hand, and started running down the sidewalk. She laughed as she ran after him.
One block later, she jumped on his back. He caught her legs with his hands, keeping her steady. She put her arms around his neck and rested her head on his shoulder. At that moment, she wanted so badly to just come clean and tell him how she felt. But then she thought of how happy they were right now. She didn’t want to ruin that, did she?
“But maybe he feels the same way,” the voice said yet again.
But maybe he doesn’t!, she snapped back in her head.
“You’ll never know if you don’t tell him,” the voice said. “You’ll wonder about what could’ve been.”
In her heart, Keira knew the voice was right. She didn’t want to live never knowing the truth. But how was she to tell him? Keira sighed as she faced yet another predicament: how on earth was she going to tell Orlando Bloom that she loved him? -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

here's todays update!!
Chapter 15 “Sounds great, Johnny!” Keira said enthusiastically into the phone. “Uh huh. We’ll be there. Uh huh. Bubye.” She hung up.
“What was that all about?” Orlando asked curiously from his spot on the couch. “Well, that was Johnny,” Keira said.
“I gathered as much,” Orlando replied. She gave him a pretend glare. “Oh, sorry. Continue.”
“Anyways, Vanessa and the kids left for New York to visit her parents. Johnny chose to stay behind, he called to say that he’s having a party tonight, and we’re invited.”
“Cool!” exclaimed Orlando. “Am I allowed to bring a date?”
Keira felt a surge of anguish. A date?! “Johnny didn’t say,” she managed to choke out.
“I know just the person!” he said. “I’m gonna go give her a call right now!” He took his cell phone and headed into the guest room, his room. Keira sat down on the couch and willed herself not to cry. She didn’t want to be a third wheel tonight!
Five minutes later, her own cell phone rang. “Hullo?” she answered. “Hey,” said a familiar voice. “It’s me.”
“Orlando?” she asked, utterly perplexed. “The very same. Listen Depp’s throwing a shindig tonight, and I was wondering if you’d go with me.”
Keira laughed. “You’re such a dork, Or!” “Ah! But I’m an extremely good-looking dork! So will you go with me?”
“Of course I will! How can I refuse someone who took the time to call me when he’s only one room away?!” Keira laughed yet again.
“You can’t darling,” Orlando told her. “That’s what makes me so irresistible.” --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
thanks for being such awesome readers!! the next chapter is longer. its taken me a long time to type. but maybe thats just my laziness. lol
