Also done by Tuima Disclaimer: I do not know or own Keira Knightley or any other celebrity mentioned in this story. Just as I, as sad as it is to admit, do not own Orlando Bloom. Rating: PG - 13 (for sexual situations) :-X Author's Note: Orlando has been given an entirely new family in this fic, and my stle changes halfway though. That very fact alone drives me nuts, but life goes on, yeah? Also, this is written from the view point of three different people. All feedback is welcome. I hope you enjoy! I haven't been able to stop thinking of him since we stopped filming. I should have accepted his offer of "getting to know each other better" when he first suggested it. What was I thinking to decline with such haste? I must have not been really listening or seeing him for who I soon found out he was. How could I say no to those soft brown eyes and his velvet voice and his smile...his smile. How I miss that smile. While we were filming this movie, Pirates of the Caribbean, that smile was something I looked forward to seeing each and everyday. But still I tried to distance myself from him. What a fool I was. What a fool I still must be. I am on a plane, shaking with anticipation as I get closer to the states. Closer to him once again. It has been almost a year since we have seen each other. My Orlando I used to call him. He would smile when I said it, for I knew that is what he truly wished to be. Mine. And he would call me Lady Keira. He called me months ago when I was just moving into my new flat. He told me that he had been thinking about me and wanted to give his well wishes to my newly found independence from my Mother and Father. We talked for hours, about anything and everything we could. And when we hung up, I was surprised to find a longing to hear his voice for longer still. It was that very day that I realized how much I felt for Orlando. I called to tell him I was visiting the states, but not openly tell him it was he that I was excited to see once again. But to my dismay, a woman answered the phone. A woman I soon found out to be his girlfriend. His fiancé. I never got to talk to Orlando before I left my home. Despite this new wrinkle, I have still decided that I must see him. I must know for myself that he is happy...without me. And if that is so, then I will leave and be happy with the friendship we have. But I must know he is happy.

lol, that you do.
I really don't like the first few entries of this, only because they are so different in style for the rest of it.

The air is different here. I felt it as soon as I stepped off the plane. It's thicker, somehow, and sticky. And much to warm for my liking. As I entered the airport and went to find my baggage, I passed many reunions, both happy and sad. Something tugged at my heart when I passed the couple kissing. I half daydreamed as I went to wait by the conveyor belt that would soon spit out my luggage. I tried to imagine Orlando’s face when he saw me. Maybe he wouldn't know. Maybe I would surprise him somehow. Would his eyes light up when he saw me? Or would he be angry that I have come now, when it was too late for us to be together. I must have watched my bags pass me three times before I realized they were mine. I grabbed them and went outside to find a taxi. I went, then, to a car rental place and paid a ridiculous amount of money for a small car for a few weeks. The man who owned the place was nice enough, looking up direction to Orlando's house on the internet and printing them out for me. So now here I sit in my rented car, the smell of cigarette smoke nearly strangling me. I haven't even left the parking lot, but my heart won't stop racing. I force myself to step on the gas, then nearly hit someone before I realize that I have to drive on the other side of the road. It isn't long before I find the street he lives on. It doesn't surprise me to see the quaint houses all next to each other, looking like it was a street stolen from a movie set in Perfectville. But which house was his? I glanced at my paper as I slowed. I looked at the golden metal numbers on the houses and saw that Orlando must live close by. I didn't actually see him until I passed him. He was painting his mailbox. I drove to the end of the street and turned around. When I found him again and had parked across the street, he was talking to some of his neighbors. I got out and closed the door behind me, then folded my hands and watched him as he conversed. His soothing voice drifted to me on the slight breeze, bringing a warm feeling to me. He carried the same English accent I did and it felt good to hear. The slight mustache and goatee he had when we last saw each other were gone. His longish hair was cut somewhat shorter and full of curls. I smiled to myself, realizing he still looked as handsome as ever. He laughed and my heart jumped. He talked with his hands, and those he was talking to backed away slightly so as not to be assaulted by his paint brush. It was then he turned to glance at the stranger across the street. Upon first look he dismissed me. But a second look halted his speech. The two others turned to look at me as well, then back to him. His face wore an expression of confusion. "Keira?" Confusion melted into excitement and he dropped his brush. "Keira!" We ran to meet each other in the middle of the street. As our arms encircled each other, he lifted me easily and spun me around. When my feet were on the ground again, I laughed. "What are you doing here?" His eyes were so happy to see me, which only added to my excitement. "I've come to see you for my vacation. I have almost a month before I start working again and I missed you." He hugged me again, tightly. "It's so good to see you Orlando." "It is good to see you as well." His friends had moved on, leaving us alone. "Come, let's get out of the road." I laced my fingers with his as we headed for the sidewalk. I looked at him sideways and smiled. "It is good to hear that living in the states for so long has not robbed you of the correct way to speak." He grinned and shook his head. "Never." Once we were on the sidewalk, he looked me over. "You look fantastic, though still entirely to thin." I smiled. "I had to lose a little weight for this next movie." This caused him to frown. "Keira, you are perfect the way you are. Don't let making movies depict how you eat or live your life." We stared at each other then, lost in the happiness of seeing each other again. But the magic was soon dispelled. "I'm engaged." I forced a smile and nodded. "So I hear." He smiled and fidgeted. "She isn't home yet, but I'd love for you to meet her." "Of course." So now I sit in his home, drinking tea and catching up on old times. Everything is nicely decorated, by her I would assume. When he speaks if her, he lights up the way I had hoped he would light up for me. Dread fills me more with every loving thing he says about her. Soon she'll be home, he assures me. Good. Let's get this meeting over with.

That cover is absolutely gorgeous!!! So good for the story as well...
Its like black and white images on either side portray thier real lives with the color image portraying their 'celebrity status'. And also what they both secretly want... to be together.
Applauds to Amy! Okay i definately know where to go if i need a cover ;D

I will admit though that it is us brits that drive on the wrong side, seeing as we are vastly out numbered. Perfectville <- Nice! He talked with his hands, and those he was talking to backed away slightly so as not to be assaulted by his paint brush < -hehe that made me chuckle, is such a visual sentence, i can really picture it. Awww poor Keira, what a nightmare of a position to be in

It wasn't long before the front door opened, and a sweet voice called down the hall for Orlando. My Orlando. She was on my territory. "Down here." She came around the corner and I almost choked on my tea. Much to my dismay, she was actually very pretty. Orlando rose to embrace her and I saw she was shorter than he was. She had blonde hair that was cut rather short, and clear hazel eyes. I stood as Orlando introduced me and she smiled as we shook. I returned the smile, knowing both of us were faking the niceities. I found out that Arianna was also a bit of an actress....of course she was. She did a few small projects when she was younger, and then tried her hand at a musical career. Country music. Inwardly I laughed, but to her I was most polite and asked questions to which the answers held no real meaning for me. I glanced at Orlando a few times while she was talking. Sometimes he watched her talk, sometimes I made eye contact with him, but often his gaze was on the floor. I tried to think of what that could possibly mean, but before I could come up with an answer for myself, Arianna was asking me questions. "My next project?" I blinked. "Actually, part of it will be filmed in a small sound stage that has been built in upstate New York." This news seemed to please Orlando, but had the opposite reaction Arianna. "That's only two hours from here by plane." We shared a smile and Arianna shifted, obviously feeling uncomfortable. For some reason, I felt sorry for her. So I made some excuse about finding a hotel and stood. Both of them stood as well. "You're not really going to a hotel are you?" My sweet Orlando... I smiled and nodded. "Of course I am. And please don't offer me a room here. I need the space and room to pace when I'm on the phone." He grinned, knowingly. "Alright. I won't offer. But if you can't find a decent room, know that you are welcome here." The malice in Arianna's eyes told me different, but I nodded.
"Thank you." I extended a hand again. "Arianna, it was such a pleasure meeting you." She loosely shook my hand. "You too Keira." Orlando kissed her cheek and told her he was going to walk me to my car. Her lips were pursed together as she nodded, then disappeared into another room. I turned to go and Orlando led me down the hall, a hand on my back. He opened the door for me and our walk across the street was slow. "I can't begin to tell you how happy I am to see you." I leaned against my car and smiled, meeting his gaze evenly. "I've missed you too." "Ari can be shy, and she doesn't have many friends. I hope you two can become as good of friends as you and I are." If he had slapped me, it may have been less of a shock. All I could do was nod. He opened my car door for me, and I climbed inside numbly. After closing my door, her leaned in through the open window. "Do you have my number here?" Again I nodded. “Good. Please call me if you can't find a good hotel." I fought to find my voice. "I'm sure I'll be fine, Orlando." Gripping the steering wheel, I started the car. Before I could drive away, he reached in and grasped one of my hands, bringing my knuckles to his lips. "Drive safely." "I will..." My voice shook, and if he noticed it, he said nothing. Backing away from the car, he waved as I drove off. I decided on the first hotel I could find, since searching through tears is not an easy thing to do.

*sighs* I love Lifehouse
It's not something I was excited to see when I got home from work. Orlando called me down the hall, and the first person I made eye contact is not the person I expected. She was tall, thin, with long reddish brown hair and full lips. She was beautiful. What was she doing in my house? I looked at Orlando, questioningly, and he smiled and stood to introduce us. Keira Knightly. We shook hands and smiled politely at each other, then sat. Orlando put his arm around me to rest on the back of the couch, and we made polite conversation. I had seen the movie she and Orlando had been in, and it was very good. He told me they had had really good chemistry, which made their on-screen relationship relatable, but she hadn't wanted anything to do with him off-screen. If that was true, then why was she here now? Why was she looking at him like that, with her big doe eyes? If I remembered correctly, she was only eighteen. I tried to dismiss her as a friend, but when she stood to leave and Orlando walked her outside, I stormed into the kitchen and picked up the phone. "Sabrina...What do you know about Keira Knightly?" "The actress? Why?" I hissed. "She was just in my house." It was a moment before she said anything. "Wasn't she the chick in that movie with Orlando?" "Yes..." "Oh." "Oh? What does that mean?" "I don't know. Why do you think she's there?" I frowned, my eyes on the closed front door. "By the way she was looking at him, nothing good." "Does she know you're engaged to him?" "I flashed my ring around enough. Unless she's blind, she should have noticed, and I'm sure Orlando told her." "Then, sweetie, don't worry. How long is she staying for?" "Apparently, she has a month vacation, but then she's filming in New York, which Orlando happily pointed out was only two hours away." Sabrina sighed in my ear. "Ari, don't stress. You're making this bigger than it really is." The front door opened and Orlando came back inside. "I gotta go. I'll call you later." As I hung up the phone, Orlando came into the kitchen and put his arms around my waist. "That was Sabrina. She says hi." I reached up and laced my fingers together behind his neck. "So what do you think of her?" I blinked. "Sabrina? She's my best friend." I grinned and he smiled. "Oh, Keira." "Why do you say her name like that?" "She's nice..." "But?" I pouted as I looked up at him. "She devastatingly beautiful." He shrugged and looked out the window behind me. "I wouldn't say devastatingly..." "Orlando!" He grinned and hugged me. "Don't worry about her. She's just come for a visit. And besides, she didn't want me then, why would she want me now?" I rested my head on his shoulder and inwardly sighed. It was amazing how blind some men could be

The next day, Orlando came to see my at my hotel. He wasn't impressed with the room I had, but didn't say anything about it. It was rather small, but it had a little kitchen and the bedroom was in it's own space, separate from the small living room. As he sat in one of the chairs, he sighed. "I think Ari is a bit uncomfortable around you." I blinked and sat on the couch. "Why?" He only shrugged, then changed the subject. "I talked with Johnny the other night." "Really?" I smiled. I loved Johnny dearly. He had been "star" in Pirates, but he didn't like the term very much. He was somewhat of a recluse which made him all the more appealing to the public, and after this movie came out, people couldn't get enough of him. While filming, he had tried to get Orlando and I together on occasion, and had been quite protective of me, treating me like a little sister. "How is he?" Orlando nodded. "Quite well, apparently. Some entertainment network has nominated him for entertainer of the year." I stretched out on the couch and giggled. "I'm sure he was pleased with that." Orlando smirked. "Last time I talked with him was about three weeks ago. I think his wife was sick." "Well, apparently, she then passed her bug onto the baby, then Johnny, and now they're all wonderful." "Good to hear." Silence settled on us, save the TV that was playing a quiet movie in the corner, and he looked down. "What is it?" "Well, the movie opens soon. And to be perfectly honest, I'm a little nervous." I sat up and raised an eyebrow. "What are you nervous about? Orlando, everyone loves you. You have girls throwing themselves at you on a daily basis. Your face is on almost every cover of every magazine." "That is precisely the point. What if I let people down?" At a loss of what to say, I threw a couch pillow at him. He caught it easily and grinned, throwing it back at me. I, unfortunately, was not as quick and it hit me in the head. Grabbing the same pillow, and another, I threw both at him and launched a random pillow fight. It ended with him pinning me on the couch. I squirmed out of his grip and he stretched out beside me. The cushions were barely long enough for both of us, but he didn't seem to care. "Don't worry about letting people down. I'm the one who should worry." His brows came together as he looked at me. "Why is that?" "I'm going to get hate mail because I get to kiss you!" He half smiled. "It's true. I'll never have any female fans, which, now that I think of it might not be a bad thing if all my fans are male." At this, he laughed. "Who knows how well it will do." I turned on my side so we would fit better. "I think it will do brilliantly." He turned on his side as well so his back was to me, and we stayed that way for a little while, watching a movie in which I had no real interest. He reached back and grabbed my hand, pulling my arm to drape over his side. When a commercial interrupted the movie, he turned to his other side, hiding his face in the crook of my neck and shoulder. I closed my eyes, forgetting everything else in my life. But not for long. I remembered Arianna about the same time he did, and I sat up.
"Would you like something to eat or drink? I could call room service." He sat up and ran a hand over his hair. "No, I have to get going soon. I have a lot to do today." Standing, he looked anywhere but at me. "What time are you leaving Friday?" I blinked, not able to think. "For Florida...the premier party." "Oh!" I shook my head, trying to gather my thoughts once again. "I want to be down there by noon, so early." He nodded and went to the door. "Well, if I don't see you before then, I'll see you at the party." He finally looked at me as his hand turned the knob. "Bye..." "Bye." When he was gone, I collapsed back onto the couch. What was I going to do?

Hello Ms. Knightley, You have a way with words. When I read your fiction, I could "feel." It is truly amazing how you connect, emote, and convey the feelings of the characters through. Too brilliant for words. I want you to know that besides being huge Bloom/Knightley fan what brought me here also, is this fiction. Bravo. Please do update here as you do on the "Keira site," so we can have more Orlando/Keira fans here. Serena~

Wow, thank you Serena, that means a lot to me. Yes, I have some stiff competition in Horizon though. She's quite good as well. Welcome to the board, love!
The next day I had to fly to New York for interviews. Both us had to, actually, so I decided to take Ari with me. She didn't have to work and would have ended up spending the day alone, so she was thrilled when I suggested it. Her demeanor changed, however, when Keira smiled at us from across the room when we got there. "Why is she here?" I blinked. "She's in the movie as well, love." She didn't say anything as Keira made her way over to us. Handing me a sheet of paper, I realized she had just come from hair and make-up. "What's this?" "A list of all the people we will be talking to, the order in which they will be interviewing in, Which ones will be separate, which ones will be paired, and which will be all three of us." I didn't understand. "All three of us?" She turned and pointed over her shoulder. "Johnny!" He looked up from whatever paper he was reading, a grin spreading over his face. "Orlando! Long time no see." I left Ari and Keira and made my way over to him. We shook and he smiled as his makeup was being done. "You're looking well." I nodded, smiling myself. "As are you. I didn't know you were going to be here." "Neither did I." He shrugged. "I wasn't doing anything anyway." His gaze fell on the tiny "room" where the interviews would be taking place. "How I love interviews." "I don't really mind them," I said in response to his sarcastic remark. "That's because you are a piece of meat, young Orlando." "Excuse me?" "Women love you." I laughed. "And you. They love you as well. More I think." His eyes now went past me. "I would have to disagree." I turned around to see what he was looking at and saw Arianna standing, somewhat nervously, looking around, eventually looking at me. At the same time, Keira, who was in the middle of a conversation with someone, looked at me and smiled. I smiled and waved, both of them thinking it was only themselves I was waving to. Looking back at Johnny, I sighed at his grin. "What a lucky young lad you have turned out to be."

You are very welcome. I notice that you guys are behind in updates on this forum. Is this a considerably newer forum? Please do not take this the wrong way but I believe that a writer is motivated with the accolades they receive. We need more input in here. It might seem a little crooked but why don't you guys catch up with the updates here and then start updating here first? I assure you there are a lot of people who would come just to read these fabulous fictions... I know you both have a little fandom going and they will undoubtly follow the fic' whereever its posted first. bwahahaha.. I am evil. Yes, I know. Just trying to help, however, if you guys feel that I am crossing my lines then please do tell me off.
